What started as a sweet hobby has grown into a beloved local gem—sold at markets, a favourite find at the general store (while they last!) and devoured by butter tart connoisseurs far and wide.

Just recently stopped and grabbed butter tarts from Happy Trails while we were on vacation in Larder Lake. Not only are these the best butter tarts you’ll ever have (especially the coffee), but the two owners are a couple of the nicest people you will ever meet.
